Non-skilled (or personal care) refers to non-medical assistance – everyday support that doesn’t require a nurse or clinician. This includes help with bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation (Not VA), and more.

While these may sound like small things, they make a huge difference in quality of life, peace of mind, and family balance.

Veteran Support

We provide comprehensive, long-term care for individuals facing life-changing, catastrophic injuries such as spinal cord damage, traumatic brain injury, or severe illness. Services include 24/7 caregiving, medication administration, ventilator and tracheostomy care, bowel and bladder management, mobility support, and frequent nursing oversight to ensure health and safety. We work closely with families, physicians, and case managers to ensure every detail of care is addressed.

Immobility Support

Daily personalized care supporting clients with limited mobility, with a focus on health maintenance, comfort, and maximizing independence at home.

Elder/Senior Care

Our licensed nurses administer in-home infusion therapy, including hydration, antibiotics, and nutritional support. We adhere to best practices for aseptic technique, central line care, and patient education to deliver high-quality IV treatment from the comfort of home.

PHS is a contracted Medicaid provider participating in three non-skilled programs:

Personal Care Services: Assistance with bathing,  grooming, dressing, meal prep, medication reminders,  and light housekeeping.
Frail Elderly Care Services: Support tailored for seniors needing help with daily living activities to remain safely at home. Our goal is to preserve independence and enhance quality of life for both the client and their family.
Physical Disabilities Care Services: Personalized care for individuals with disabilities, including mobility support, safety oversight, and routine assistance. We assist families with eligibility, care plan development, and ongoing  case coordination.
